I have discovered that creating art takes me to a place where life seems to move at a snail’s pace, giving me an opportunity to reflect and evaluate the world from a different point of view. I like to call my paintings "Visual Whispers", and I view this process as a very special gift.
Working out of my inner-city studio, my greatest inspiration comes from worship music and the written words of God. I use traditional watercolors, pastels, acrylic paints, and special mediums applied with experimental and contemporary techniques. My work is created in multiple layers of color washes, often with hidden images.
I paint because it is pure joy and a gift I must use. But I share my art with the world because I believe it brings hope and joy to the heart, soul, and spirit.
