Whether I am standing outside at my easel painting a landscape or in my studio working on a still life of cut fruit or a portrait of a unique individual, I am drawn to praise the Creator of all things. The beauty and complexity of created forms, the interaction of light, shadow and atmosphere, the subtileties of color-these are all evidence of the One who creates and loves us. It is a privilege to be an artist and to closely observe these gifts.
