Artist / Personal Statement
I am a professional visual artist specialising in creating paintings of dramatic colour and rich texture. My inspiration comes from colour itself, and my approach to art is most akin to abstract expressionism. My paintings are a celebration of the creative process; whereby the initial inspiration is the spring board and from this the art evolves. Music plays a vital role in my creativity. It is the catalyst from where I draw my emotional expression and my paintings are often the exception of a visual colour melody. Worship drives my creative pursuits, as I produce art from my understanding and relationship with God. I respond to scripture, the unction of the Holy Spirit and worship music as I seek to connect the viewer to an encounter with the Creator.
Accomplishments / CV
I have been painting and exhibiting for the past eighteen years. I studied at the CCC School of Creative Arts, Sydney, where I had an opportunity to develop my love for painting, along side of my passion to express worship through visual art. I have found that 'milage under the brush', has been the best teacher, as I have explored my creative passion through application and experimentation. I now teach 'Developing Creativity Workshops', allowing others to unleash their potential and explore the creative zone. Currently I am producing a book, 'Postcards from Eternity', which is a retrospective from 1995 to the present. This book is a collection of seventy six paintings, spanning sixteen years. My vision has always remained the same, to connect the heart of man with the heart of God through visual art; to create a space for people to encounter His presence; I paint from the unseen realm and make it visible, so that others can see. Colours of Hope

My name is Froyle Neideck, I am a professional visual artist and I have been painting and exhibiting for the past twenty years, in-between raising my family and pursing life. I want to tell you a story about hope, colour and great possibilities.

Last year my cousin Evana went through the horrific ordeal of breast cancer. She had a double mastectomy and all the treatment that aligns with this procedure. My mum, Helen, decided to head over to Perth, Western Australia, to help Evana’s…

The Sound of Painting part 2

Posted on July 16, 2014 at 10:08pm 0 Comments

The first time I exhibited Soundscapes I had 5 paintings with sound. From all different musicians, in different styles created specifically for each individual painting. I was exhibiting in a public space at a marina, with the general public wondering in. Most people were impacted by the painting and sound and what I found was that they could receive a greater appreciation of the art when they were literally tied to it for 3 minutes! They really 'saw' the painting and as the music resounded…

The Sound of Painting

I have been painting from the inspiration of music for more than 10 years.  I have painted live in worship, at church as well as in my own studio. I just love to interpret the emotion of sound with colour and texture and often my paintings are the exception of a visual colour melody. The application is spontaneous, in response to the worship and the unction of the Holy Spirit.

Then I asked the question, can a musician create in response to my painting? What would it sound like to…

Art & Faith

'The purpose of Christian art is to deepen our encounter with God. From the tiny to the monumental, from a piece of personal jewellery used for meditation to a massive stained glass window in a great cathedral, the function is the same: to catch the imagination, to open the heart and the mind, so that we may better hear the divine promptings' (Rowena Loverance)
