Artist / Personal Statement
My work is inspired by the colors and textures that I see in the world around me. I especially enjoy finding beauty in unexpected places such as in old industrial sites, the walls of ancient ruins, or the view from an airplane window or that I see under a microscope. I believe we are called to celebrate all of God's creation.

I am leading a printmaking workshop in Italy this summer for two weeks. As a long-time CIVA member, I am recruiting from the CIVA memborship. The workshop is a drawing/printmaking and touring workshop to be held at La Romita School of Art near Terni, Italy. La Romita is close to Rome. This will be my second time to host a workshop there. I'd like to invite you to consider it. You may call me in Austin at 512.947.1073 or email me back here on the CIVA site or my email firstname.lastname@example.org. Other helpful links would be the page I created for the workshop:
I have enjoyed looking at your work, and think you might like working with Suzi Davidoff and myself. We are using non-toxic printmaking methods and Suzi's drawing methods would be of interest to you I think. We have a few opening left for this small workshop of about 12 people.
One of the real draws of La Romita is the hospitality there, home cooking (3 meals a day) and the touring daily of the hill country towns nearby.
