"Carol, Talk about energy and movement! your primary palette and direct approach is emotionally moving, and your compositions are intricate and layered. Thank you for this look into your paintings, and into your spirit!

Artist / Personal Statement
Painting, like prayer, bridges the physical and the metaphysical. Art gives form to emotion and experience.
My acrylic and watercolor landscapes explore the relationship between art, Creation, and the human spirit.
Nature is the revelation of the divine power of God that created it. Its physical appearance is evidence of that invisible spiritual reality . Changes in Creation are related to events or stages in man’s physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual life.
The style of the work can be described as “expressionistic realism.”
A reliance upon the intuitive process, as demonstrated in calligraphic strokes of color, record my thoughts and feelings as I connect with my subject, divinity in nature.
It is my intent that those who connect with my work be uplifted, to reflect on the original works of God that surround us.
“Since Creation, God’s invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature,
have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made.”
