Artist / Personal Statement
Shannon Sigler is a visual artist, theologian, and arts administrator. She graduated from Asbury Theological Seminary in 2007 with a degree in Theology and the Visual Arts; and from Boston University in 2011 with a Masters in Arts Administration. Shannon’s art and research center around a Wesleyan paradigm for the visual arts, as well as explorations in feminism, Christian vocation, and family life. Primary mediums include collage, found objects and oils.
Shannon is married to Matthew Sigler, a Ph.D. candidate in Liturgical Studies at Boston University, and has a son, Elijah Jackson, born last April. She hs been working as CIVA's Associate Director since August 2011.

I am doing well. Nice to "see" you too. The semester just ended, and I am looking forward to painting a lot this summer, teaching at the Grunewald Guild, and seeing friends and family for a bit back in the Northwest. Blessings to you.
