Artist / Personal Statement
I am an artist, husband, father and follower of Jesus. I am a lifelong Iowan. I received my BA in studio art from Iowa Wesleyan College, MDiv at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary where I was the Artist in Residence. Currently, I am the Associate Pastor at Asbury United Methodist Church, Bettendorf. I started an organization “The Art Project” as a vehicle to use art as a voice/method to bring hope, love and peace to the hurting places of this world. The Art Project has allowed me to travel, teach, speak and do art around the United States, England, Philippines and with the refugee children in Palestine. I live a colorful life, a life of love, belief, prayer, and faith in all aspects of my life. My hope is that all who see, hear and experience my life/art will know that I am a representative of the Creator.

Hi Steve: Thank you for the friend invite. I'm finally back to PA... got lots and lots of sleep... early today - made my homemade soup (a cream of carrot/ squash/ parsnip soup)... and now am ready to return to my art making practice. Please do stay in touch !    Blessings - Robert
