He has given us the gift of new bodies and eternal life with Him. My mom and others who have suffered this demon cancer, but who have faith in Him, are made new! One day we will walk on streets of gold. One day we will see the 12 gates made of an…

Thinking about art and making art is such a rich experience brought on by faith in the Lord Jesus. The two are intricately intertwined for me. The challenge creatively is to bring into being those ideas that spring from the heart into the mind based on where I am on this journey of faith and life. May my skill level start to match those ideas. I feel so blessed to have such richness in my life. The pondering of God's love and ideas through a work of art is worship to me. I put art making, even art thinking aside for many years and recent loss propelled me back into both with much depth of thinking.
Currently I am giving very old, never seen work the light of day while slowly working on new artistic encounters such as assemblage art. It is an exciting road to be on. I find much joy and inspiration from being a part of this art and faith community.

Thank you, Wanda, for the warm welcome! I'm grateful to have found this network for artists whose faith is central. I see you have a background in graphics too! I've enjoyed taking a break from the needed computer (for graphic design) and getting back into paints, colored pencil, chalk... getting my hands dirty is a fun part of the process for me. The work you've shared is beautiful. Thanks again.
