House of Humility.

Any successful leader must first go through the house of humility...David r. Hicks.

It's not the critic who counts, not the man who points out how the strong man stumbled,or when the doer of deeds could have done better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena;Whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood;Who knows the great enthusiasms, the great devotions, and spends himself in a worthy cause;Who at the best, knows in the end the triumph of high achievement;and who…

I believe working with clay does put me uniquely in touch with the earth. It gives insight into many aspects of what it means to be human. It’s no wonder so many cultures, and religions have seen the first humans a “made from clay”.…

Art & Faith

'The purpose of Christian art is to deepen our encounter with God. From the tiny to the monumental, from a piece of personal jewellery used for meditation to a massive stained glass window in a great cathedral, the function is the same: to catch the imagination, to open the heart and the mind, so that we may better hear the divine promptings' (Rowena Loverance)

The voice of Art

B.C./A.D.Inspiration;Jesus is our icon.

One of the great tragedies of the world is to live an uninspired life, and here's the deal: nobody had ever inspired the human race the way that jesus did."The victory of jesus christ over the gods of greece & rome by the fourth century was responsiable for a massive and magnificent outpouring of creativity that is probably, without parallel,in the entire history of art." Colossians 1:15-20.The son is the (icon)greek/image of the invisiable god.

Developing Creativity Workshops

What a fantastic workshop today! What I love best about working with ‘virgin’ artists is that they believe whatever you tell them! So I tell them that they are free to create, have fun, enjoy the process and love making art, and that’s what they do! It’s the way we create when we are children, before some ignorant adult tells us that we can’t or shouldn’t.…

A time clock? pay check? position? title? An artist dips their brush into their soul and reveals it on canvas, for the inspiration, instruction, encouragement and advancement of the consciousness of mankind, how can it be any more “real”?

Oh, it must be because I don’t earn enough money! Is monitory gain…
