Artist / Personal Statement
"He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end." Ecc.3:11
As follower of Jesus Christ, my interest is in exploring the enduring truths of God's Word and giving visual expression to those truths through color, form and a graphic representation of the Biblical narrative. As such, the nature of my work could be described as "Abstract art with a concrete message" and for the purpose of giving glory to God.

Origins, Separation, Intervention & Summation

Posted on February 3, 2014 at 4:05pm 0 Comments

I'm glad to be a new member of CIVA and having the opportunity to take part in the larger dialogue of how Christians can bring glory to God through the visual arts. My interest is exploring how to give expression to the enduring truths of God's word, focusing on the 4 broad themes of: Origins, Separation, Intervention and Summation and would welcome any critique/comments concerning my work that is posted.

Hello James, welcome to the CIVA Network!

I really like the way you incorporate three dimensional objects in what would otherwise be a two dimensional work.  One of the reasons I joined CIVA is to connect with like-minded people with a passion for the arts and how it can touch a person’s soul.  Well done!
