Artist / Personal Statement
Light was the first creation of God, who is Himself the Uncreated Light. I think that’s why light is so fascinating to me - a way of expressing the love relationship between our God and His creation. I generally have the sense of scripture being a form of light – so a lot of my work is very directly tied to specific verses or passages.

My first video premiered two days ago at the Oyster Point hotel in Red Bank, NJ.  A women distressed in an alley encounters the Light.  Inspired by John 8:12.

The Flavor of Salt

“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men". Matthew 5:13

In this video you can see how this verse influenced me.  The song was written and performed specifcally for this piece by Carly McIlvaine.
