Maybe many of you are established here and don't need any opportunities, but if you or other Christian Artists you know want to get involved in this group I"m starting here is the link:

The concept is to get a collection of art available so that we can offer the work to pastors so they can use the originals to curate their own show around a teaching series, or can use digitally for one sermon. Of course we can each set our own prices and handle individually. But not all churches can afford to purchase work, but they may be able to afford sponsoring a show. This takes a lot of the work out of it and hunting for work.  It's a way that seems cost effective, to pool our talents and offer to different churches.Tell me what you think!

I understand that Diane. One thing we tossed around when I visited a church in NC is limiting the size to keep down shipping. Also trying to find regional opportunities.

Sounds like a worthy idea Anne.  I am only inhibited by the shipping costs................

Hi Anne,

The Grove Center for the Arts & Media is a non-profit ministry I serve in Southern California. Our mission to cultivate the spiritual life and creative work of artists. We do this by Grove Gatherings, Getaways, and Generosity. We helped host the hospitality "Sacred Space" area at CIVA's conference two years ago at Biola University. Have you spoken with Denise Weyhrich and Cindi Rhodes from SEEDS Fine Arts? They curate shows in Southern California and across America. Denise is here on the CIVA Network.
